This building is located in the heart of Alfama, one of the most historic and tourist districts of Lisbon, in front of the Fado Museum and next to the boat terminal.
The building has 4 floors. On the ground floor, you can find a garage with an office, a toilet and a small lobby. The 1st and 2nd floors are used for modern T2 apartments and on the top floor, you will find an elegant duplex apartment with a private elevator.
At the time of its rehabilitation, the building was in a high state of deterioration. Our team was able to rehabilitate the building and provide it with impeccable housing conditions.
There was a great concern in maintaining the original design of the building so that it remains aligned with the style of the neighbourhood the building belongs to. The gaps in the main elevation were maintained, as well as balconies, stone masonry and metallic elements. In the openings spans were created to provide the building with better housing conditions.
Its rehabilitation respected the original construction, maintaining the structure of the wooden floors. The cross of Santo André was also maintained in the structure of the walls.
Despite its traditional wooden construction method, the building was equipped with acoustic and thermal insulation, to provide the best comfort to its residents. It has a centralized sanitary hot water system, made from solar panels hidden in the roof and a heat pump located in the lobby. The spans are made of wood with double glazing and thermal cut and have shading from the original interior doors, which provides a fresh and pleasant environment. It is a very comfortable building, full of natural light and with a perfect environment to make anyone's stay a sublime experience.
